Ethylaluminum Sesquichloride (EASC) is a pyrophoric liquid supplied undiluted or as a solution in a compatible hydrocarbon solvent.

PURPOSE:

Ethylaluminum Sesquichloride (EASC) is primarily used as a cocatalyst in the Ziegler-Natta polymerization of olefins and as a catalyst in Friedel-Crafts alkylation and acylation reactions.

APPLICATION:

Ethylaluminum Sesquichloride (EASC) is used primarily as a catalyst for the production of EPDM rubbers as well as a Ziegler-Natta catalyst used for the manufacture of polyolefins.
